The Objective - Back to the top

The objective of this game is to reach the island in as little time as possible. In a normal game, if you are not one of the first TWO (2) people to make it to the island first, you are out. If you lose, you will be given these options. For finals regulations, please click the link, or refer to the next section labeled Rules and Regulations.

Below is the sticky note layout for the Survival Island Race game.

Blue Sticky - Back to the top

The blue sticky will outline the basic objective and explain the game. This is the room short-hand for explaining how to basically play fairly.

Green Stickies - Back to the top

The top green sticky will give a basic layout of Game Options

The bottom sticky will always have a link to this website to refer to all rules and policies.

Rules & Regulations - Back to the top

Knowledge of the Rules:

3 Rounds - 2 Winners from each round

Finals Round - [explained below]
Finals will be conducted at the end of 3 Rounds (6 necessary players unless otherwise announced)

If you lose the game, you are responsible for deciding your Game Options. Lack of this knowledge, and the simple lack of the basic rules is intolerable (for example: not knowing there's finals) as there is a signification on the stickies in the room - this website is also linked from the stickies in the room.

If you win a game (not finals), but are stuck having to sign off from Habbo, there is no refundable furni for that time (but you can ask to be listed in auto-finals yellow sticky [explained below]).

Game Options: - Back to the top

    • P2P
Pay to Play - 3 Respects: Will be offered to empty finals contestant seats, or to anyone looking to skip the line waiting.

When losing the game
You must choose between these payment options to remain in the game

All Payment options must be of greater than 1 credit value

    • P2S
Pay to stay - 1 furni: paid to the owner and/or host of the room in order to stay in the game. You will be placed in with the next round of contestants.

    • REV
Revenge - 2 furni: paid to the owner and/or host of the room - This will challenge one player of your choice to be subject to these options. If the opponent you REV fails to respond, you will take their place as a winner of that round.

    • KIK
Kick out of the room - Free

    • BOMB
The Bomb - 3 furni: paid to the owner and/or host of the room - This will hold both winners accountable for paying to stay. It does not mean to auto-kik everyone... If both players fail to respond, you can bring a player (or BRO) of your choice with you to the finals. If one out of two players respond, you are declared a winner for that round. If both BOMBED players respond, and payt to stay in the game, a tiebreaker must be held on the island between the person who BOMBED, and a winning player of your choice from that round.
      • NOTE: If you bomb your opponents, they cannot rev back and/or bomb back. They can only p2s. P2S is doubled once you are bombed, and it is 6 coins or 2 furni to P2S (pay to stay in the game).

    • AUTO-WIN
The Auto-Win - 4 furni: paid to the owner and/or host of the room.
      • When used in normal games, this sends you automatically into finals.
      • People from the line must pay an additional 3 respects to go directly to finals
      • If used during FINALS, player wins the entire game.

          Options include:

          • Payment of 4 furni (3 cr. minimum)
          • Payment of a .5 rare.

The Prize will increase if Auto-Win is used. Risk includes all opponents will have the sole ability to auto-win back. Once they do this they are the declared winner until there is an additional auto-win. Prize value raises depending on number of auto-wins, and items given during the duration of the game.

Tie-Breaker
If there happens to be a tie (between 2nd and 3rd place), the tie breaker will be a simple one-time dice roll between the two players. The higher roll will advance to the finals. A tie cannot be determined for 4th, 5th, and 6th place.

Game Summary - Back to the top
Reaching the Island will mark the end of each round. 2 players will advance to the finals round made up of 6 players. If there are less than 6 players after 3 rounds, the host will ask anyone in line to P2P (3 Respects) - If there is still less than 6 players, a 4th round will be played for the remaining seats.

FINALS ROUND Game Rules: The finals will be conducted as 3 rounds (with 2 losers each round). The last of three rounds will be a One VS. One competition for the prize. Prizes are listed HERE . All losers in the finals round will be responsible for the normal game options listed above.

Yellow Stickies - Special Game Rules - Back to the top

Winner-board:
The top yellow sticky will indicate a marquee style winnerboard. Most recent winners will stay at the top, and will fall to the bottom as more winners come. The reason for this is to keep a reasonable amount of timing between games (monitoring how many winners per day), and also to allow winners to have some bragging rights in the room.

I. O. U. Policy:
If the host in anycase, has to leave habbo short of notice, then there is the I. O. U. policy. This policy states that if the host owes anything to a player, then he will write them down on the middle yellow sticky - below the "winner-board". On this sticky will be your name and the reason in which the host owes you. Your name cannot be erased until you are payed.

Auto-Finalz Sticky:
The bottom yellow sticky is for the specific situations when you are in the finals and you find yourself having to leave or do something else. If this happens, then please ask to be placed in the auto-finals, and you will be listed on the bottom yellow sticky meaning you'll have access to the finals anytime you come back, but its only for one-time use.

Hosts Playing The Game:
If there is more than one host in the room, and one of the hosts wants to play, even if the one who is playing is infact the owner, he can participate in the game. The chances of a host actually winning are slim, because the host cannot p2s, rev, or bomb, or auto-win at any time. If you rev the host, he is automatically out. If the host happens to win all the way until the finals and actually wins the finals, then, unfortunately, there is no prize for the contestants. If a co-owner host wins the game, no prize will be given by Stdevil.

Pink Stickies - Employees & Rites Information - Back to the top

Permanent Jobs: Co-Ownership (8)
Co-Owners' pay will be based on splitting profit furni between the Owner and the Co-Owners. A Co-Owner is responsible for assisting Stdevil in hosting the room when he is online. Profits will be split between the number of Co-Owners in the room during running times. There are 8 total available Co-Ownership Positions for Survival Island Game room. More positions will be available as more rooms are created

When Stdevil, the owner is offline, Co-Owners will be in charge of managing other employees. Main profit while the owner is offline will go to the Co-Owners, and the Co-Owners must agree to split profit furni with any other present employees assisting in hosting.

Non-Paying Jobs: Host (4) and Dice Hosts (4)
As a non-payed employee, the best way to profit is to be online while no co-owners are available. It is suggested that one person host, and one person be a dice host; work together to host the room. One employee should advertise and fix the teles, while one host fixes the dice after every round. Please make agreements with other employees on how to split furni. Continuing arguments between employees may result in losing your rights. There are a total of 4 Host Positions, and 4 Dice Hosts positions available for Survival Island Race.

Temporary Rites (Winning the Game):
Upon winning the game, you can choose to get rites to the room. If you so choose rites, you can host the room at any time for 7 days, and you are free to take profit from p2s, rev, bomb, and all other donations accepted if you are the host at the time. You are to use your rites them responsibly. Refer to the section below about acceptable use of rites. Rites expire after 7 days.

NOTE:
If you win rites, you are allowed to have them up to (7) days, then they will be taken, and you must redeem them by winning or paying when they expire.

Conduct Issues
If there are issues of behavioral conduct please leave complaints with the owner (Stdevil) and problems will be resolved as soon as possible (within a few days).

Rites Policy Agreement: - Back to the top
If you get your rites taken away any time for intentional reasons, then any furni you have payed is 100% non-refundable. Rites can be replace after proper and respectful explanation.

Please Read Below:

Acceptable use of rites: - Back to the top
All payments and trades between employees, contestants, and others are to made in the "trade off" room owned by Stdevil

Rites are to be used for the purpose of hosting the game. People with rites are ONLY allowed to move teles, operate doors and gates, and move to reset dice. For Co-Owners only: you are allowed move any furni ONLY after opening a suggestion to Stdevil, and first making sure the owner approves.

List of reasons why rites will be taken:
For Co-Owners:

  • Constant Kiking of other employees
  • Spamming
  • Messing Up Room
  • Harassing the Owner

For Host Employees & Temp Rites:

  • (All above mentioned)
  • Failure to comply with Game Rules
  • Acting against Habbo's Conduct Policy
  • Moving any non-permitted furni

Banning:
In serious circumstances, rites could need to be reset, if you want them back please ask Stdevil. If you are the problem you will be permanently banned from the room.

Helpful Tips for Hosting: - Back to the top

  • Finally, since you have the right to host the room under your freedom here are some helpful hints. Always keep all gates closed unless you need to access them, especially the gate that controls the line

  • Always SHOUT as a host - By holding (shift + enter) to talk

  • Make sure 6 people are properly lined up for each round in their respective seats. Any early motion will be considered cheating, or a false start. In order to do this as quickly as possible, check who responds to your commands, and kik those take too long. By filtering contestants, you will help ensure that the talent and skill level is more equivalent (rather than n00bs ruining the game).

  • Roll the dice before anyone gets to the maze section. This will ensure that the dice is always rolled when people enter the dice rolling section. Failure to roll the dice on time each round will cause delays.

  • After each round, clear the dice, and mix up the Teles. If you do not correctly clear the dice, people will claim they have rolled a correct number. If you do not correctly mix the Teles, people in line will remember the easiest path for the next round.

Prizes & Giveaways: - Back to the top

The prize can only be given from Stdevil, or any Host at the time (Co-Owners are exempt from this rule).

When finals does occur, only one winner will prevail. The 4 prize options, and their respective conditions are as follows:

4 Prize Options

  • Temporary Rites + 1 Respect - If ZERO redemption furni was payed during the course of the game
  • 16 Cr. (coins) worth of furni - If less than 5 furni were payed during the course of the game
  • A .5 Rare, or 2 Seasonal furni - If 5 or more furni were payed, or an Auto-Win was used during the course of the game
  • A 1.0 Rare - If more than 1 Auto-Win was used during the course of the game.

Regarding Prize options:
If Stdevil isn't on during the finals victory, you either have to consult with the game Host (Co-Owners exempt) for the prize, and get him to give you a prize, or you can use the( I. O. U. policy = middle-yellow sticky). If there are no prizes left, you must wait for more prize furni to become available, or you can accept rites as a host or dice host.

The prize is dependent on the amount of furni received during the course of the game.

How to Play

    FIGURE 1-1

    1. Entering the room (shown above), the host will allow 6 people at a time through the gate, each person will take one of the 6 spots on the first iced sofas (the ones closest to the line). When the host rolls the dice and says "GO" you have to race across, though the first section, through the pool element, past the iced sofas (ones that face towards you), and on to the Blue Tele row. 2. At the Teles, choose wisely, as this section can make a big difference for the finish. Out of the 6 Teles, one pair of the link (2), one Tele does not work (3), one takes you to the Tree House (FIGURE 1-2) (4), one takes you to the Volcano Room (FIGURE 1-3) (5), and the correct choice will take you directly to the maze section. The objective at the Blue Teles is to get to the maze section as quickly as possible.

NOTE: Both the Tree House and Volcano Room will advance you to the maze section as well, but you’ll have to move quick.

FIGURE 1-2
  • 3. In the Tree House you have two options, you can either return to Island Race room to seek the correct Tele, or you can choose to venture across the tree house, and the Wardrobe Tele across the room will assure you get where you want to go. There's no correct choice, but you'll have to think fast, and generally the Tree House is a safer choice when continuing your path, rather than getting stuck in the alternate: Volcano Room

FIGURE 1-3

    4. The Volcano Room is the most difficult trial. The smartest choice would be to go back to the Island Race room, and select another Blue Tele. However, if you venture across the volcano room, you will have to choose between 5 Wardrobe Teles in order to advance to the maze. The Wardrobe Teles could slow your time down greatly.

FIGURE 1-4
  • 5. The Dice Section Breakdown: The first people to the dice section can claim any dice they like, and use more than one dice. However, once seats have filled, a player cannot roll another players dice. The greatest advantage is in using 2 dice to roll. If another player claims a dice you are using, you must stop using that holodice.

    FIGURE 1-5
  • 6. When you finally match the number on your holodice, the gate for the Red Tele will be open only for your entry. Try and block other contestants that try to breach the gate opening. Reaching the island will mark the end of each round and total game.
